Everyone entering the salon will have their temperature checked with a “no touch” thermometer. If elevated they will be required to reschedule.
Stylists will wear facemasks at all times and encourage clients to do the same when feasible.
Only one client per stylist in the salon at a time. Clients should announce their arrival then wait in their car or on the porch until called for their service.
Clients will be told to leave their purses, tote bags and back packs in their cars. Bring only a wallet and a book, cell phone or magazine into the salon for entertainment.
Clients will be asked to wash and/or sanitize their hands before handling retail products.
Stylists will wash their hands and clean/sanitize their station after each client.
Use of hood dryers and blow dryers should be kept to a minimum.
The shampoo room will be a quiet zone; no face to face chit chat even if one party is wearing a mask.
Laundry will be done with hot water, detergent and bleach until further notice.
Until further notice the thermostat should be set to “on” vice “auto” whenever anyone is working so the air handler continuously pulls air through the sanitizer in the vent duct.
