Salon Anti-Covid Protocols

  • Everyone entering the salon will have their temperature checked with a “no touch” thermometer. If elevated they will be required to reschedule.
  • Stylists will wear facemasks at all times and encourage clients to do the same when feasible.
  • Only one client per stylist in the salon at a time. Clients should announce their arrival then wait in their car or on the porch until called for their service.
  • Clients will be told to leave their purses, tote bags and back packs in their cars. Bring only a wallet and a book, cell phone or magazine into the salon for entertainment.
  • Clients will be asked to wash and/or sanitize their hands before handling retail products.
  • Stylists will wash their hands and clean/sanitize their station after each client.
  • Use of hood dryers and blow dryers should be kept to a minimum.
  • The shampoo room will be a quiet zone; no face to face chit chat even if one party is wearing a mask.
  • Laundry will be done with hot water, detergent and bleach until further notice.
  • Until further notice the thermostat should be set to “on” vice “auto” whenever anyone is working so the air handler continuously pulls air through the sanitizer in the vent duct.
